This doll is very beautiful – one of the nicest and sweetest looking in the Barbie fantasy line. I really like that her tail is vinyl and not hard plastic like previous mermaid dolls. because it is vinyl, she bends at the ‘knees’ and that allows for even more posing.
Definitely one of the best Barbies for little girls who like fantasy style dolls!

My 2 and 5 year old daughters love these dolls for bathtime. Had to get two of them so they wouldn’t argue over whose turn it was. If you hang the dolls upside down after bath they will drip dry just fine. This time, Amazon did not have the best price; found it for nearly half the price at that store with the red bullseye…

This Barbie gets more play time than any others my daughter has. It stays in the tub and she plays with it every bath. She washes her hair, plays with the fish, and loves how the tail splashes when you squeeze her hips. This splashing tail action takes some practice and hand strength, so really little kids may not be able to make it work right. But it’s my daughter’s favorite Barbie by far. Best of all, no clothes or shoes to lose!

My 5 year old has all 3 of these mermaid barbies and she takes a bath with them every night.
They are durable and have held up well with all the baths!
